This information assumes that you are the original creator of the work. These instructions are for FORM PA which protects the COMPOSITION of music and lyrics and other written art intended for performance.

To copyright a Sound Recording, use FORM SR but also file FORM PA for the actual song.

You can copyright more than one composition for form, as long as they are on cassette or CD or double cassette or double CD. The cost is $30 per form.
